The coast where the Carolinas meet is especially stunning—quiet, far from the tourist crowds, and alive with skies and light that change in an instant, fresh and challenging. I have to admit, I love painting in my flip-flops, and the quick shifts of color and atmosphere across this 115-acre hidden gem.
