I come from a family of artists. I studied painting in college and I’ve worked in museums and other non-profits throughout my career. In between work projects I have renovated a number of houses in Maryland, both in the Baltimore and Ellicott City areas, for myself and my family.

All of the paintings on this site are oil on board and are custom-framed using repurposed wood. The paintings are permanently secured in their frames and are presented as objects.

The landscapes are painted outdoors, en plein air, in the locations indicated. My partner and I share some of our favorite details about the locations in the descriptions and links.
