Faded Crags captures a rocky landscape softened by distance and time. I used a bit less paint than usual, stretching the process and letting each layer breathe. Some days in the field feel slow and low on energy, but those slower days often spark new ideas. I’m excited to keep exploring this method whether or not my lady friend is impressed. She will be happy, after painting, when we head next door to The Atlantic for crab cake night.
